A challenge, a person, a connection, a story, a coincidence, a happening, a spectacle, a mash-up, a gem found and explored, a subculture, an art collective, a ritual, a dancer: a reaction. All of these and more have interested me, inspired me, caused me to think, play, write, work, and most importantly create. I’m not interested in just one thing; I react to
many.

Frequently I find myself “behind the lens”. Whether I am working on photography or video, I am capturing the real thing that I have become fixated upon. I am constantly working on my visual voice. In particular, I am continuously influenced by master painters of the past and photographers of today. Through my work, I try to enlighten, inspire, and provoke thought for the end viewer. I enjoy working experimentally, especially in collaboration with others, as I believe the strongest result is achieved through group participation which allows for a diverse range of skills to shine. I hope what I have produced and most importantly future projects that I will be involved with, offer fresh ideas and perspectives of my world and are intrinsically worthwhile for all those who value creativity.
