As the sole art director on the project, my objective was to create a visual presentation and book that visualized the three treatments, “This is Qatar”, “The Journey”, and “Let’s Make History,” written by Directors Derek Cianfrance and Derin Seale, in effect showcasing that Qatar was a great location for the World Cup. We won the pitch and Qatar won the bid -- we were probably the only happy Americans during the announcement ceremony!
